As part of the XFEL-Hub project funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW), we offer the opportunity to undertake internships at the research stations of the European X-ray Free Electron Laser – EuXFEL. Participants will become acquainted with research topics and experimental techniques used at EuXFEL. The aim of the internships is to prepare young Polish scientists to utilize EuXFEL as a unique tool in their own research. Duration of internships – from 4 weeks up to 3 months.

Przygotowujemy już trzecią edycję programu stażowego, zaplanowaną na okres od marca do grudnia 2026 roku. Aby w pełni wykorzystać potencjał naukowy pobytu w EuXFEL, chcielibyśmy dopasować tematykę staży zarówno do Państwa zainteresowań naukowych jak i do badań prowadzonych w EuXFEL w danym okresie. W związku z tym, zanim rozpoczniemy nabór na wnioski o dofinansowanie, chcielibyśmy prosić tych z Państwa, którzy są zainteresowani stażami, o podane do dnia 25.01.2026 następujących informacji:

4. Current own research topics (brief description, allowing to connect it with the EuXFEL research topics)
5. Expectations from the internship (e.g., familiarization with the research capabilities of the station, establishing research contacts, preparing a research proposal, etc.)
6. Preferred duration of the internship

The cost of the internships will be reimbursed from the project funds.
